KEEP ON DANCING AT BARNES ROCK!
1. The 60s Allstars
2. Alan Lovell (lead singer and guitarist with The 60s Allstars)
but here in his other role in The Swinging Blue Jeans. There are two links, one of the Swinging Blue Jeans way back and one of a recent performance.
The Swinging Blue Jeans current line up is:
Alan Lovell (Guitar/Lead Vocal), Peter Oakman (Bass Guitar/Vocals),
Jeff Bannister (Keyboards/Vocals), Graham Hollingworth (Drums)
Alan Lovell joined the original two remaining members of The Swinging Blue Jeans in the 90s.
He toured extensively in Canada, Scandanavia, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany and The UK.
The band continues to do this with the current line-up.
Apart from the 2 CDs and 1 DVD (recorded live in Bonn, Germany) with the current line-up, Alan has also played on several CDs, DVDs and TV shows with the original Swinging Blue Jeans line-up that went into demise due to the retirement of the last original member, Ray Ennis.
Alan is in his third decade with the band and continues to carry on the history of The Swinging Blue Jeans, playing all the band’s hits and more. Alan says that it’s a pleasure to be back on the Sensational Sixties Experience Tour again as this will be The Swinging Blue Jeans’ third time round!
Long may it continue with many thanks to promoters Alan and Billy.

3. Andrew Heart, Ivan Hoe, Rebecca Turner and colleagues Dan Selsick and Colin Parks
performing I Saved the World Today (Euryththmics Cover), their lockdown performance produced for the Havana Jam 79 concert that went out last week on YouTube.
They all appear regularly at Jan’s Jam at The Three Wishes pub in Edgware on a Monday night and Andrew and Ivan together with Robin Bibi (see 3. below) are The Persuaders who we see regularly at Barnes Rock playing great 70s songs to dance to.
4. Robin Bibi
Robin has played from time to time with The 60s Allstars for many years and more recently has played regularly with them. About 6 years ago, Barnes Rock suggested the formation of a 70s band and Robin got together with Andrew Heart, Ivan Hoe and the very sadly missed Del Mandel to form The Persuaders.
He also runs his own band, The Robin Bibi Band which was formed in the late 90s when Robin was inspired to start his own Texas Style Blues/ Rock band after having worked as a session man with artists such as the Pretty Things, Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, Ben E. King and Helen Shapiro.
